A night of Fundraising and solidarity for those fleeing war and occupation.
On an ordinary night, clubs promise escape. But this one promises something more.
Brought to you by COST OF LIVING and CREWDEM at Lost Horizon, a new event is set to bring together live music, DJs, artists, stalls, games and community activities for a night that fuses underground culture with real-world impact.
Running from 8pm through to 4am, the line-up shifts fluidly between bands and DJ sets, creating a space that feels dynamic and unpredictable.
Described by one of the organisers as a 'flip-flop' format, the night’s structure constantly evolves, meaning there is something for everyone. With the bands playing through in house Danley PA and the Djs playing through korridor kru x solstice soundsystem (stack of scoops and turbosound), the night will consistently interchanging between Band and Dj.
At its core, the night is about raising support for refugees fleeing war. The event is rooted in urgency, shaped by frustration at ongoing global conflicts and a desire to respond with action rather than silence. Proceeds from the night will go towards the charity Road to Freedom providing aid efforts to refugees.
Musically, the tone leans toward punk and experimental club energy, loud, restless, and unpolished. Evolving from a previous fundraiser at The Golden Lion, a wider network of creatives are contributing to the event with Cost of Living collective and Crew dem combining forces to execute a party for a good cause.
The Djs involved move across various sounds and styles. SamBadBy of the Kyber family starts it off with deep, rolling dub steppas foundations. With JPEG bringing the acid electro bangers, while Nymfro channels a UK-grown sound rooted in Jamaican influence, cutting through breakbeat, breakcore, and jungle. MizDameaner keeps things weighty with bass-heavy jungle and techno, strictly vinyl-only.
But beyond the lineup, this is about community. With around a hundred volunteers and crew, the event is about giving space to people who want to create, connect, and contribute, whether that’s through music, conversation, or simply showing up.
There’s an emphasis on inclusivity and openness: a night 'for everyone', built by people who believe culture can still mean something.
There will be information points highlighting refugee support initiatives, plus additional fundraising efforts including raffles, second-hand clothing, and artist contributions and a MEGA workshop takeover from BUSYMINDS HUB.
The goal is simple: make it easy for people to engage, learn, and help. With a bit of silliness from 'dildos on tories' a 50p chance to do what we all dream of…
The motive is clear, bring people together, raise money, and create a space where awareness turns into action.
Because sometimes, staying out all night isn’t about escape. It’s about showing up and dancing for a good cause.
